Richmont alumni couple, Nicole and Caleb Lyon, are opening a new private practice this summer not far from Richmont!

Georgia Counseling Collective is seeking to hire several therapists in all stages of licensure desiring to work with individuals, families, couples, young adults, adolescents and groups.

The founders Nicole and Caleb Lyon are 2019 and 2021 Richmont graduates. Nicole went directly into private practice and has a heart and passion for teaching new therapists how to be successful directly out of graduate school. She works with elite athletes/sports performance, anxiety, trauma, eating disorders, high achievers and couples.

Caleb is both a counselor and veteran and has learned how to embrace uniquely who he is and would love to mentor other male counselors and also help them learn how to stand apart in a field. He works primarily with men’s issues, teens, athletes, addiction, veterans/first responders, trauma/PTSD, anxiety and depression.

The position is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in entering private practice.

Requirements:

    •       Recent or soon to be graduates, pre-licensed, associate licensed or fully licensed in the state of Georgia.

    •       Desire to maintain a caseload of 10-20 clinical sessions weekly.

    •       Candidates must have the availability to see clients in the morning, afternoon or evening with flexibility in their hours.

    •       Candidates must be willing to market themselves and grow their referral base in the community with guidance on how to do this.

    •       Candidates must have a niche or desire to develop one that suits you personally.

    •       Candidates must demonstrate knowledge and understanding of professional boundaries and ethical codes in clinical relationships.
