Job Title: ASAP Family Therapist (Full and Part-Time Positions Available)

Job Summary: The Adoption Support and Preservation (ASAP) program provides in-home, trauma-informed, neurodevelopmentally sensitive, therapeutic services to meet the unique needs of adoptive and guardianship families. Family Therapists are responsible for providing a continuum of ASAP services to children and families including individual and family therapy, prevention, education, and support linkage.

Essential Functions:

– Utilize evidenced-based, trauma informed treatment models/approaches that are relevant and appropriate for work with families

– Clinically assess the needs of the child and family

– Provide and coordinate crisis and non-crisis intervention services to families

Job Specifications:

· Master’s Degree in Mental Health (MHC), Professional Counseling (PC), Social Work (MSSW) or equivalent

· Two years of direct clinical experience with families and children in individual and group settings

· Ability to clinically assess child and family needs, develop clinical treatment plan, provide crisis management, and resource linkage as needed

· Ability to work independently as well as with a team
