Job Description
This family is looking for a reliable and caring nanny to provide love, nurturing, and activity to foster children placed in our care. Your time and attention with these children will help shape their sense of safety, predictability, and being loved as they navigate difficult family situations.
Responsibilities
- Complete TNKey training and fulfill other requirements from the state to be a nanny with foster children (hours in training will be paid by the parent)
- Provide a positive, creative, active, and thoughtful approach to child care, play, and discipline
- Develop a working relationship with children from ages 0 weeks to 7 years
- Communicate with parents regularly on the child’s behalf
- Collaborate with others in the family’s network to provide best care to the children
- Maintain a clean and tidy home for the children to thrive
- Collaborate with parent to provide safe, nurturing, and engaging environments for the children
- Light meal planning and meal provision at appropriate times
Skills
- Proven experience as a babysitter or in another creative field preferred (experience with children between 0 weeks – 10 years)
- Patience and flexibility toward change in the circumstances described above
- High level of discretion and professionalism required
Job Type: Part-time to full-time
Salary: $10.00 – $17.00 per hour
