BIO: Dr. J is an easygoing, even, happy guy who loves people, helping, mentoring, keeping busy, whistling, biking and did I say college football! Roll Tide. He is an ordained PCA pastor on the Pastoral Staff at The Church of the Apostles in Buckhead for the last 22 years and teaches classes at Reformed Theological Seminary. He loves to keep things fresh, innovative and connected to community.
Cindy is a real estate agent, nurturer, family oriented, positive, spontaneous, happy person who likes to be a cohesive force in relationships. She also likes biking, gardening, flowers, music, celebrating, prayer and people. She likes psychology and has a hobby as a social worker with kids from the inner city. Loyalty to the Lord is her delight.
We believe in the European model where family is a forever community and want everyone’s needs to be met and maximized to fulfill their unique calling and purpose, under the same roof, if desired. A current Richmont student is living with us so we have ongoing opportunities for rich fellowship. Our family has always practiced an “open home” where guests always feel included.
Cindy‘s schedule is flexible, and James works days, some evenings, and Sundays.
The room is $800 per month (utilities included) and is somewhat negotiable.
